-we travel as sa5 on Continental metal
-we travel as sa3 (date of hire) on expressjet/asa but, continental employee, spouses, parents and companion travel as sa3 (date of hire) as well!!! (fuckkin bulllshit!)
-have to pay when you list
-no more vacation passes and as of Jan. 15th ALL vacation passes in your bank are gone
-not as if they were any good anyway but, no more buddy passes

Fucckin outrageous and if there is no backlash each and everyone of us are pussy's. And do not give me this shitt that we have no negotiating power. Fucck you and Fucck that statement. Take a stand folks cuz i guarantee I will.

I'm going to read the blastmail for a THIRD time just to make sure I'm reading right! I don't believe my eyes...

Why do I feel the sudden need for more fuel and weight restrictions. Weird how lately there's been so little O2. Guess we don't keep enough onboard for jumpseaters. Odd.

so the parent of a continental employee could bump a continental employee in theory? that is also the way the blastmail reads, but that just sounds weird. (unless it means that a parent traveling with the employee is SA3... like it is now)

also, the blastmail says we can't travel on other commuter carriers working for continental, but it says we will travel SA5 on CAL.... "or any other service for which Continental is financially responsible for the passenger capacity pursuant to a block space or CPA;" that would read to me as other "express" or "connection" carriers.

isn't it funny how the company spent all that time, effort and money to get the extended buddies online, just to end it a year later? my brothers and in-laws used them. now i'll never let them consider buying a ticket on CAL.

Are you implying a "jumpseat war" with CAL pilots over this issue?

I think "non-rev war" would be a better term.

we have no control over non revs. gate agent clears them. we dont even know they r on. jumpseat war is the right term.

Does the gutting of our travel bennies with 3 weeks notice constitute a change in the status quo in regards to the RLA act?

its very easy to see how many non-revs are on a flight and how many revenue. "Sorry, gotta weight restrict to xx" "oh those non-revs, yea cant take em"

NO CAL pilot will be on my FA jumpseat until this bullsh*t changes. I can't sit on their FA JS, they can't sit on mine. It's all about setting things equal, right?

I don't see why they (Cal pilots) are on our fa seat AT ALL! We can't be on theirs! Never has this made sense to me!
