Today I received this email from Skywest. I don't think so!

Did you know SkyWest offers year-for-year pay credit for your experience in the flight deck? That means you can join the SkyWest team at the same year of pay as your current airline. (Example: if you’re a three-year FO today, you’d start at 3-year pay at SkyWest.) This credit also applies to your 401(k) match, profit sharing and user/vacation accrual.

    Plus we’re offering a $7,500 signing bonus!

We frequently have recruiting events around the nation, where you can come to learn more information. You can see each event detail on www.skywest.com/skywest-airline-jobs/career-guides/pilot-jobs/.

You can also learn more about what SkyWest has to offer pilots at skywest.com and if you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out!

    Thanks,

Wow I guess even they are getting desperate. But not a bad offer if you are one of the regionals that will see a loss in airframes as the CPA on 70 + seats winds down at your airline as ours come online due to scope. I just wonder who it will be that loses out ?

Go jet turns a 70 seat into a 50 seat and our 75 seat turned into 70 seat fills the hole. No one loses...?

United loses when they can’t staff their regional experiment.

This^^^ The regional recipe is broken. “Will fly for food” doesn’t. Work

Right On Zero-G! Until UAL realizes that we are their success formula and gives us a more stable career progression into UAL. Not the CPP. But, a true cradle-to-coffin progression this recipe is going to remain broken
