Xjt is not going away. Too much money to be made by management. 145s will have a place in the system for several more years. However, we will be flying a lot less. I think a 76 seat option inevitable.

Really, UPS??? You have been here since 2004 and should know how quickly things change. Don't be such a Debbie Downer.

Think about this: For every 1 flight that we cancel (CCF as of 5/23) Shuttle America cancels about 84 (83.77). The wheels are falling off at Republic. Someone has to fill the gap.

I feel it's a good assumption to operate under.

I suggest you try to get out as soon as you can. There's a new airline that's about to start flying 747s between Orlando and Las Vegas 3 times a day. It only costs $3500 to interview for an FO position. You should really check it out:

Is avatar for real? It looks like the same jack offs that were trying to start Family Airlines for the past 10 years.

"Avatar intends to subsidize its fares by generating income from its distinct and
separate profit centers rather than from the pockets of our passengers."

Sooo, they're planning to run an airline that will consistently lose money. Sounds like a great business plan to me, where do I sign up?

I refused to clink on that link. I thought for sure it was going to be a rick roll until I read others responses.

Edit: profit not from customers, but from interviews.

When I signed up, we were wholly owned by Continental. And Continental was making money hand over fist.

"We're not losing 69 airplanes, CAL will NEVER do that to us!!! They like us too much!!!!!!"

    Get over it grandpa.

And now, UAL is making money hand over fist. And we're getting a fist in the rectum.

A lot of the people at that time had a choice, stay here or flow. Just saying. Unfortunately you never know what will happen.

Sure some people had that choice but for some of us we were furloughed when CAL flowed back after 9/11 and then the flow was stopped before we could flow up, there were quite a few people who never had a choice.

Get over what? Do you even know what this thread is about? Reading comprehension is a skill.
