I get bored breaking all the good news here on the pipe, so I'm going to make you guys work for this one. Apologies to Nostradamus...

A carrier's day in the sun
May end up to be its last one
For the mothership in the south half
Has decided to take a new path.

The laws of the land must stand
So this one had to be planned,
While the signatures from both hands,
Are sure to relight old cans.

A bird of a small composure
Will need one with more high exposure
And a bird from the north will fall
To a bird of the south's beck and call.

As the sun in the west slowly fades
This will mean more recalls and upgrades
And a base that will end up to be,
    Incredibly senior to me.

    Good luck.

Note: Mods, as I've done in previous postings, I've posted it in the cockpit for the reason that I do not wish (nor does the SEC, I'm sure) for this conversation to be public. It's a private discussion amongst the XJT Pilots only.

This place needs good news, put could xjt secure additional flying with it's recent troubles?

The mothership in the southern half, obviouly mother cal.

A new base however in the west?

A bird of higher exposure? A bigger airframe, which we don't have or could finance?

    I like this game!

Can't be PHX. The last time we opened a West Coast base, I personally heard GS say this in my ground school. "All you guys bitched about having a West Coast base for years and now that we have two I find it funny that they are going junior."

So I will start early. It sucks out west, stay away, everything is terrible and cost too much money. The girls are ugly and only like rich guys with BMW's. The weather is terrible all the time and the air is dirty. Everyone is rude out here, and there is no good food....especially pizza. No good NY or Chicago style pizza ANYWHERE. The beer is always warm, hunting is basically outlawed and no one likes NASCAR. Lastly, there are no lakes anywhere close to any cities. Total drag out there, I would stay away, far away from anything "West" if you know what is best for you.

Total pipe dream, but it feels nice to think about for like 10 secs.

No more colgan? How would that result in a new base?

I personally flew with ords cp about 2 months ago, according to him, growth with United was a big possibility, even despite our recent numbers.

What's throwing me off is the rhyme scheme, mothership of the southern half, so the cal side of the merger, but also resulting in a new base.

Too many missing pieces, I think it's time for another clue, thanks!

    This is fun,

A carrier's day in the sun - (MESA or Colgan)
May end up to be its last one - (the "may" means it is not offical)
For the mothership in the south half -
(Could be CAL but its moving to Chicago, could be USAIR (used to be in CLT), PHX low on the map too)

Has decided to take a new path. - ( No clue, cause we are not new to CAL)

The laws of the land must stand - ( You hate Obama)
So this one had to be planned, - ( New possible contract)
While the signatures from both hands, - ( No press release, not real)
Are sure to relight old cans. ( Engine of the 135)

A bird of a small composure ( Frame of 135)
Will need one with more high exposure (Usage of 135)
And a bird from the north will fall ( Alaska Airlines?)
To a bird of the south's beck and call. ( This sounds like situation normal if it is CAL)

As the sun in the west slowly fades (That means no west coast)
This will mean more recalls and upgrades ( For who?)
And a base that will end up to be, (No clue)
    Incredibly senior to me. (IAH)

Total BS on my part, but it was fun anyway.
