I’d like to think the company is smarter than that and knows if we vote in a mediocre contract AND they still lie to us...this place will be done by December.

Maybe that’s the plan. They get to blame all their problems on us and play it off as complications to pilot shortage.

Why does the promise of 175’s only hinge on the pilots? Flight attendants vote down a TA, who knows what the mechanics and dispatchers are up to, but this all falls on our shoulders?

They need scape goats if the house of cards collapses. It's easier to have labor pissed at each other. By dividing and conquering it keeps labor from banning together and calling out management

Management has already won. They have the pilots thinking that the fleet plan is up to them. "We'll give you a few E175s...if.." Pilot's shouldn't be buying airplanes. But that's what seems to be happening. The answer is...Buy what you want, and what's best for the company, and we will fly them, whatever they are, in the most professional manner. Soap box over.

Getting new planes IS what’s best for us, AND the company. This time, that happens to be the case. Attract new talent, or continue the death spiral. The only way to attract that talent is lower upgrade time and pay more. Let’s see what the TA offers, and go from there.

Isn’t that kind of how it happens every time. The majors shuffle the planes around every couple of years to put each pilot group on its heals and then bring them back from the brink with a carrot.

Except the swirling pool of seat meat with a taste for 121 is getting thin.
Once the legacy’s start the mills up again, (delta ) and the lccs’, it’s going to be a blood bath.
DL has already stated they’re on to the b/c buckets now.
At least United is consistent with its late to the game shenanigans.

    Poor silly souls

I gotta wonder if it’s that more of us just don’t apply to more airlines, or if we’re still being punished as a group for the 2013 United record losses and the 2014 hell-no vote. They should have BH and CT in a torture room for that and not us.

Same for me bro. Once they start scraping the bottom of the barrel, they’ll find me.
