E-CLB Profile for XRJ question
Hey all:
I'm brand new to this forum. Let me first state that I am not an ExpressJet pilot in the real world...but I play one on the computer. Yes, I am an avid flight simmer and fly the ExpressJet fleet.
I have a question I need some help with. I've pretty much mastered flying the LRJ (totally impressed myself, BTW). Anyway, what I wanted to know is what is your climb profile for XRJ. I know that generally the dispatch will say Climb ECL.M60 CRZ M78 or M76 DESCENT A/P.
What I'm wondering is what is your normal thrust setting? TO-1, E-TO, and what is the N1%.
Also, what is the difference with E-CLB, what's the general N1% during initial climb and does it go above 93% N1 when near TOC?
I fly the ERJ-145LR from Feelthere and it has the FADEC, correct FMC program and is equipped with the "detents" on the throttle, so it really does fly like the real world pilots say it does.
Anyway, I'm just curious about the XRJ is all, how the TO and CLB profile work. If someone can help me to understand this, I would appreciate it. Thanks so much...
Fletcher R.

LMAO...we had a CAL FO on the jumpseat...first time on the ERJ...it did the honeywell shuffle and he asked me "what the f*ck are you doing??" My CA just about lost it from laughing so hard...then we explained how crappy it was
she was doing some pretty good "clearing turns"

I love flying with people who decided not to arm the loc 30-40 miles out because it will do the shuffle, so instead they leave it in heading mode and continue to manually do the honeywell shuffle by chasing the needle with the heading bug. Just use the **** FMS line and be done with it.
Oh and to the original poster, you arent gonna get any good comments from us on here because you ARE PLAYING A GAME.

Honeywell has a link to the ATIS in Houston; it's only giving us a chance to look out for the birds in the vicinity of the airport!!!

Yup. I got a sweet bird strike about a month ago while the gear was in transit. Right as the mains showed down and green, we heard a loud thunk. When we got on the ground there were bird guts all over the left main gear door. Sweeeeeet.

climb profile: 1000'/min all the way up (supposed to be 290kias transition to M0.06)
normal thrust: to: usually alt-to1, E-climb, then crz.
% depends on temp, altitude etc. i dont pay enough attention to notice what the numbers are.

N1 for E-Climb is usually right about the same or even a slight increase as compared to Alt-TO when you hit the button.
The ITT's vary slightly with engine age and ISA...But generally speaking in E-Climb they're around 830C, then during cruise they're around 790-810C.
