Default Gary Porter's Study Guide / Bracket

Gary asked if I would post this for him... I use his manual and really like the material.

---------------------------------

The book basically is 4 books in one; it contains profiles, flows, layouts [Where all computers / systems components are located]in the aircraft and the best part, over 1500 systems questions and diagrams. It is very detailed and goes well beyond what the company offers.

Upgrades have complimented the detail, and have stated that the upgrade oral is much easier with the content.

Dimensions: 5 ˝” X 8 ˝” Coil bound book (About the size of Jeppesen plates)

Email me your address and I will send out the book and or bracket.

Inside with the book will be a return address envelope.

Just enclose a check or cash for the amount:

BOOK [30.00] | Book only postage: 4.05

JEPP BRACKET [15.00] | Jepp Bracket only postage: 4.05

BOOK / JEPP BRACKET [45.00] | Book/Jepp Bracket postage: 6.50

It usually takes 2-3 days for the book to be delivered.

Google Pilot says: Make your pilot group proud and contribute to the Captain Anthony Miller memorial fund. We have raised money in the past to help other XJT family members for various different reasons. Captain Millers family could really use our support right now!

I sent Mr. Porter an email a few days ago requesting the manual and agreeing to compensate for it, but haven't heard back from him.

Does anyone have this in pdf?

I'm moving to a pilot factory soon to instruct as CFI, and was thinking that having a look at the 145 manual would be motivating to continue working hard.

I understand there could be some hesitance in sending it to a non xjet employee.

This link below is selling one generic 1998 manual, and one for Chautauqua.

Embraer EMB-145

Nevertheless it would be great to obtain an xjet copy -- you guys are my first choice and it would be a priveledge to work w/you in the near future.

I wouldn't expect Gary to get back to you...he is longer at XJT and back in the day he wouldn't even sell his manual to new hires in training. You had to be done with initial training before you could buy one from him. Good luck.

Wow, new job at CAL causing the price of the book to go up? I bought it a few years back for $10.

It is a good study guide.
