As the first order of business for today's MEC meeting, the CAL MEC unanimously passed a resolution to conduct a strike vote.
This resolution continues the plan that we have consistently held to since the beginning of negotiations for our contract.
Today's vote also is a symbol of our recognition that today is the anniversary of the L-UAL pilots' 1985 strike. We have sent this resolution to the UAL MEC in the hope that they will see fit to join us in a show of unity.
