Actually I got 1st out of Vegas a while back. It was $13.50 or something like that. There are certain times of day those super elite flyers don't wan't to fly, and I guess 6am out of Vegas is one of those times. It is rare though.

My wife and enjoyed first, for the most part, from LAX to Maui and back. I was surprised we got it bec ause they had a lot of upgradable people, but most were traveling with families and did not take the upgrade. With that said, Legacy United first class is really awful. Food sucked, seats were not anything great, entertainment was the overhead screens, and Flight Attendant were not even close to Attentive. I would have been pissed if I paid full fare. It is no wonder Unical is getting hammered in the court of public opinion. They have a long way to go in order to get up to Legacy CAL levels. Which compared to many foreign carriers sucks as is. They have a long way to go, probably to far to go.

Why is anyone surprised that Smisdick has brought the place down to the lowest common denominator? That was a given from the get-go...
