    My best bro is an AH-64 driver and has been deployed to Afghanistan. Here's how our conversation went:

    Me: Hey...would this be considered normal operations?
    Him: Only for a dumbass!

    Pretty much sums it up. What's even better is that HIS brother is the "Chief of Rotary Wing Operations" in Afghanistan. Somebody's got some dancin' to do once they get out of the infirmary...

    I drove 64's for 7 years.

    These guys made a lot of mistakes, both in judgment and execution. They'll lose their wings; hopefully they won't go to jail.
