tran states rumor

there is a nasty rumor on yahoo finance forums under xjt

saying that tran states will be operating 25 of our old srjs for CAL
possibly why the recall is happening

anyone else here this

Wow! That rumor came out of left field. If it is true, its just another slap in the face from big daddy CAL.

I agree that those are our planes to use if we want them first. The only way TSA could use them for CAL is if we decided to let them do it. Granted their big money losers but I'm not sure if the company would allow it. Besides with out low block hours lately does CAL even want more RJs flying around?

Agreed. Per the agreement with CAL we have last rights on that flying. Find this rumor hard to believe.
