Hello,
I am an FO here at XJT and I am hopping to make the move to Cathay. I would appreciate any info. Did you use a gouge for an interview? Would you recommend any books, sim time etc.?

Are you doing recurrent classes or new joiner? Is that you working 884 on the 29th? If so I will see you then.

how do you get based in the UK, Canada, or Australia? Is it a bid system? I would be interested if I could get based in one of those places! Lol

When you do the 2nd interview they will ask you for your top 3-5 choices of bases. When you are given a class date it is for a specific base/equipment. If you have the legal right to work in those countries, go for it...not a problem....but otherwise no chance...CX will only help with work permit for HKG base ( which is not available for DEFO).
