Let me ask you this: If there were no God, how did we become? How did atoms become atoms (aliens?)? Who created the aliens? How did they come about? How did the big bang happen? Something had to of created something to actually explode into creating this big bang theory.

I believe this: That the world, universe and all we know of (land, birds, dinosaurs, the sun, the moon, etc.) were all created in six days (literally). And I also believe that God sent his son Jesus, born of the virgin Mary, to come down and sacrifice himself for our sakes (Our = everyone that has lived, is living or will come to live until the end of time). I also believe that Jesus died, and rose again on the third day and is in Heaven awaiting His return to Earth to rule for a 1000 years. That is my belief, it is solely based on The Bible. Call me whatever you like, I am what I am, a Jesus Freak!!

I was laughing at this one.
Let me add to your list, genius... WHO MADE GOD??
Lets hear you answer that one, and don't try to feed us some sh*t about God having been around forever, we're trying to be logical here.

Another book for you to read... "The Case for NOAH"

It's about how the story of Noah really was true, despite how impractical and ridiculous it may seem to be. The book tells how Noah truly gathered 2 of every animal in the WORLD and put them all together on a ship.

Or maybe there was more than two of some animals... I mean, I'm sure on such a long trip on a boat the lions and tigers must have been really hungry....

Someone said it perfectly... religion is for the simpletons of the world. It's no different to believing in the tooth fairy, santa claus or puff the magic dragon.

God has been around before there was time (before he created it). He has always been around. Maybe thats not the answer you wanted, but it is the truth. Whether you believe it or not. You, nor anyone else has answered my questions. And believe me, I am NO genius. You dont have to be smart to believe in God.

If creating the world is not difficult for God, why would calming the hunger of lions and tigers be any different? I believe he could handle that task.

So, what do you believe then? I challenge you to answer that question honestly.

First, you are correct on your first statement. In fact, the second statement is unecessary after the first.

Second, if an all powerful God can calm the hunger of lions and tigers, why can't he calm the hunger of the starving people around the world? Why is there suffering, disease, anguish, or pain if he has the power to stop it?

The answer is, either he doesn't exist (more likely) or he does and he doesn't give a crap (more scary). What say you?

Sin, sin is the reason for everyones pain. We are all born into this world with sin.

Suffering is due to someone doing the suffering (pain, emotional or physical); sin. God tells us to Love our Neighbors. Disease, pain, anguish, is all due to people hurting other people, sin.

Eventually He will end it. And there will be peace for 1000yrs on Earth. Read Revelation. Its an interesting book.

Ask yourselves this "What is the Purpose of my life, why am I here?"

Irrellevant. I died to save us from sin. If God has the power to stop it all, he should. If he can't, then he is not all powerful. If he won't, then he's a dick.

God gave every human one very important thing, choice. The choice to make ones own decision. Why should he help those who sin against Him? Do you praise your dog when he bites you, or do you discipline him?

God has the power to do whatever He wishes to do. His ways are not our ways. God is more intelligent then we can possibly imagine. Just try and think of how to create human life, or how human life came to be. You will give yourself a headache. Theres just too much complexity to the problem. God knows what He is doing.

No matter what you say, or what you do, God, and Jesus loves you and wants whats best for you (which is usually not what you want for yourself).

that's all nice and good. do you have any PROOF of any of this? what is the SOURCE? would this stand in a court of law? are these facts or fairy tales? do you know the difference?

if you say the bible is the source, that's like saying I read it on the internet (with all due respect to the bible) you need a source to the source. where did the people that wrote the bible get their information?

if you say I don't need facts and sources, I have faith, your argument fails in a court of law and you go to jail. do they give you internet connection in jail so we can continue this thread?
