What's the difference between a pack of evangelical christians at one of their whacked (see Borat) Sunday get-togethers and a group of their Islamic equivalents all on their knees facing Mecca 5 times a day? Well, I guess the Christians invite women to participate in their insanity. That's about it. They're all whacked in exactly the same way. Everyone wants God to take control of their thoughts and their life because for most humans it's too frightening to imagine having to actually take any kind of real responsiblity for yourself, your life, and your world. Let God do it because I would rather consider myself and my fellow humans too powerless, too lazy, and too stupid to help ourselves. We're so pathetic. Until we completely give up on God and decide to dig ourselves out of this shiite hole of a world ourselves, we derserve every bit of evil, destruction, pestilence, and war that we have coming to us.
By chance I had Christmas off. I couldn't care less.
I think Bush needs to say "Bring it on" again, and then be sure to go to church to pray for the safety of the troops.
