Again, I am sorry that I ever wrote that thread. I never once said nor tried to act as if I am perfect. I was in a financial crunch and wanted to see if anyone had some good advice. I got plenty of it and was very appreciative of it. And when someone responded rudely to me, I lost my cool and angered very quickly. And you are right, that is not the way I should have acted. But that is where the glory of God shows, in that, He loves me and you and us no matter what we do. It is tough every day to get up and know that I have made mistakes and said things and done things that are not pleasing to God. However, I know He has fogiven me. I can only hope that you guys all do the same.

How can you be SO sure that he has forgiven you????? You seem to be consistently reassuing yourself of this idea.................and I'll bet father Barry Micokenim and father Dick Gozinia think they are forgiven too, despite all the little boys they corrupted in the name of god. How many times can one man sin before god decides to cut his losses and consider him a lost cause? But, wait! There's more! Order salvation now for only 10% of your income and blind faith in everything I say, and you will get not one but all sins forgiven and be rewarded with eternal bliss, no matter what you do! Jesus saves by using double cupons and shopping wisely

It is all about Christ dying on the Cross for us. I ask for forgiveness. I forgive those who have sinned against me, then I repent (turn away from) and believe (trust) in Christ.

1John 1:9 "If we confess our sins, He(God) is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness".

When you go to a diner for breakfast and order an omelette most places give it to you with hash browns or home fries, right? Then they usually give you the option of either two pancakes or toast, right? Well who the hell chooses toast over pancakes? I know a guy who will do that. WTF? You've gotta take those pancakes! You want toast, have it at home in the toaster! After all, it's just a couple pieces of bread! Pancakes take more effort to make, and they're always better at a restaurant than at home. You've gotta wonder about the decision making ability of some people. Freaking toast, man.

I wasnt referring to your flesh. I was talking about your soul, your inner being, your spirit, which never dies. Do you really want to spend the rest of your life believing in nothing? No one said in your quoted post that they didn't believe in anything, that all we do is for nothing. The thing that gets me is people like yourself who are sooooo convinced they are right that they can't even begin to see an alternative viewpoint. It's why I am no longer part of any organized Christian religion. Remember you, too, are an atheist when it comes to thousands upon thousands of gods from known human history.... you just go one step less than many others, and that's your choice. I respect that. What I don't respect is the pulpit.

I was in no way putting words into peoples mouths. If it appears that way, I do apologize. I am simply asking a question to someone that I have been talking with for a while. There is no other way to get to God except through Jesus Christ. And the only way to do that is to call on Him. I am in no way shape or form an athiest. I believe in the one and only God. The I AM that I AM, the God of the most High, God of all creation. Why dont you respect the pulpit? What happened?
