I say put the hat on and look like a tool, or don't use anything at all... And if you choose not to wear the hat, comply with the hair standards just like everyone else. No Turban... Its BS, if you don't like the rules, don't work there.
We had a flight instructor back at the flight school, that told the school on the interview that she could not work on Fridays and Saturdays because or her religion (I believe it was jewish, not sure), but they said ok and she was cool... But that didn't fly when she applied at many different regionals... I bet, this girl did not wear the turban on the interview, so, I will stik to the company issued hat or NOTHING...

I should invent my own religion and then make the biggest goofiest looking hat with flair ans **** hanging off of it. Then I should go get hired at eagle and pick up a trip with her just to make her feel that tiny and stupid as we walk around the terminal with our goofy hats together. Seriously, shouldn't she want to deny herself earthly desires (ie. flying) so that she will be Zen (or whatever). Nope... she's giving into her earthly desires and trying to be a pain in the *** so she doesn't have to sacrifice in the name of her religion. I hope AMR looses business for this, they deserve it.

I saw some El Al pilots in EWR... none were wearing their Yamikas... maybe because they were in uniform.

I say a uniform policy needs to be enforced across the board... she knew what the uniform at AE was when she got hired.... I would bet money that she didn't wear her turban to the interview.

But hey I've seen some wigs on our employees that look worse than a turban.

Chances are CAL will hire her in their next round... I'm amazed with 1000 TT she isn't there yet.
