So if she was able to keep the turbin on would she have to wear the hat on top or just affix the hat brass to the turbin.

I don't believe that it is necessary to accommodate someone if they are not willing to follow standards.

There is something in this country called the Constitution which included something called the Bill of Rights. Something in this piece of paper states the following:
"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances."

If they make an exception for her, they better start making exceptions for all the other people who want to wear religious flair, icons, paraphernalia, etc, that they claim is 'part of their religion'. Seriously - this PC BS is getting out of control.

The government can't, but a company can certainly enforce a dress code...it's absolutely ridiculous this crap goes on. The Bill of Rights has nothing to do with someone not wanting to remove a turbine while they fly an airplane.

The key here is that Congress can make no law, companies have the right to ask you to dress the way they seem fit, and within reason. It is absolutely rediculous to think that a company cannot enforce a certain set of rules or dress codes, without having to factor in someones religious beliefs. There are many things that I am sure this woman does that do not conform exactly to her religions standards. Leave the turbine at home, or find a job in a field that fits this lifestyle.
