Sally means - iah fa could use some help

IAH F/A Sally Means (used to be CLE based) has had a terrible thing happen to her 17 year old daughter Abby. A little over a week ago, Abby was accidentally struck in the eye with a BB. The whole back of her eye was blown out. Abby is a great soccer player & was going to get a soccer scholarship for college. They tried all they could to save her left eye but yesterday they removed it. In 8 weeks she will receive her prosthesis.

Sally's been off work to be near her daughter who is in OKC at the Dean McGee Eye Institute. I don't know if someone could set up a paypal account for her as between not working, she does not know what insurance will cover. The bills will be astronomical.

If anyone could do this for her, I'm sure it would be greatly appreciated.

Sally is one of the best FA we have. I'm so sorry for her daughter's accident. You both will be in my prayers.

I can't believe it. The **** that happens. Sally is great person. My thoughts and prayers go out to her and her daughter. Definitely if there is something we can do then we should……….

It's easy to setup a Paypal account for this. If you need a website to host the Paypal button PM me. I can make it a blog entry easily with the story and button.

Thanks for the kind words on Sally & I shall pass them on to her. I don't have a clue on how to set up something for her which is why I came here to see if anyone could help.

I am tehnically inept & still have not figured out how to set up a pay pal account or a way to help Sally out. If you happen to be in IAH, maybe a note of support in her V-file would be nice. Thanks everyone.

Hello all. Sally has a paypal account already and has had it for quite sometime. Pm me for her email if you wish to send any donations. She has been through alot and I am sure any donations would be gratefully accepted. She's not sure how she's going to get through this financially, it's really sad, to say the least. We really appreciate the kind words and support from this community.
