Bad form ExpressJet management, bad form!

The company knew this was going to happen. Don't kid yourselves. The headline says it all - "mutually terminate". This was always my issue with ALPA, both XJT and non. The 3000+ pilots here are always the last to know. This proves my point thoroughly. The company hasn't released it's version of the story but Ream did make public comments on the situation. Any this rate, they'll close Branded overnight with a sign scotched taped to the door explaining the closure to the employees showing up for work the next day.

Bad form, Ream.

If one more person tells me that this is just the way the industry is, then I will likely have an immature reaction myself.
This is by far the single best post on the crackpipe since its creation.

This is by far the single best sentence on that crackpit since its creation.

so does this mean we'll have to furlough 600 or 700 + now?

re-read what I was referring to before you jump down my throat. I (of course) was NOT referring to the Delta thing. I was talking about the company not telling us in a "timely manner". I, like most, are sick and tired of the "entitlement" people. You think you are "entitled" to the closed doors information?

ABSOLUTELY I feel bad for everyone this is affecting. You must not have been in the military cause you obviously didnt learn about "attention to detail". Go back and re-read my post! If you had paid attention in the past, you and everyone else would know who I am. For specific reasons, I no longer post my name. If you really want to know, Ill PM you (once you're verified).

As much as they would have probably liked to (at least some of management) tell us this was coming, it would likely cause a whole bunch of insider information liability. Have to give all of the stockholders equal opportunity to watch our share price implode.

Ok... there was a press release from Delta, it is not closed doors. If it were closed doors, Delta would not have announced it. Would it hurt OUR company to notify ITS employees of changes to OUR company. If memory serves, the line pilot found out about the beginning of the Delta agreement from Delta and found out about the demise from Delta. What's next, will United announce the demise of branded? The rest of your comments do not require a response. Your rantings on this site speak for themselves.

You must have had a very easy time here at XJT if you don't know who Bryan L. is. Check your committee members.

Fair enough, how about a joint announcement with Delta to the public and to the employees. I don't give a crap about the stockholders. My stock holders are my peers at this airline and my wife and kids, PERIOD. The company should be embarrassed by their lack of communication. This cancellation has a huge impact on the lives of many employees out west.

Did you notice Mike Flood is now shown as a IAH check airman and not ONT on the bid pack?
