Agreed.......the only message on xjt.com is have a safe and happy July 4th. This is like getting the furlough notice on the 24th of Dec and then being told to have a Merry Christmas. I expected more out of our management. In the end they are the same as everyone else. By the way...from ALPA Rep.....300 Furlough in Oct. Have a safe and happy Halloween.

WHY would we agree to terminate the 10 airplane CPA???????????????????? Doesn't that guarantee a profit for our company until July 2009?

WOW, 116 LAX CA and 120 LAX FO's now need a new home...and dont forget the guys left in SAT (44 CA & 46 FO's)........so I guess this new bid is really going to be a flush bid. This will be fun.

I disagree, how does Rueters have the story already, but our company doesnt seem interested or able ( we all know how great our IT dept is) in informing us themselves. Classless, I dont care if it is a day before a holiday...this just didnt spring up overnight, it should have been posted on the web site and CCS as soon as it was announced. People always ask why so many people sPend time on the pipe....because most of the time its the first place that we hear company / union information.

lax ca here- i found out my future via the pipe. although on tuesday that nuts gate agent in SLC (Michelle) was talking about how it is all (us and them) ending. i assumed she just heard about a reduction back to 10 planes. maybe she isnt so nuts after all.

why dont you tell them yourself instead of posting this on the pipe (about how unhappy you are about them not telling you before the press releases)? Go talk to your CP, talk to GS (he is your CP now).

Dont worry, Im sure they just found out the same way we all did, by reading the pipe. And for the record, I dont expect to be told before hand, I mind not being told in a timely manner after the fact. Besides this is in the crewroom section, and I post my name, so I am in fact telling management..by posting it on here. Your kidding yourself if you dont believe that they read all of this stuff.
