Lightbulb Headset Questions...

Im starting to shop around for new headset, and I was looking at a couple different models that use ear molds, and I wanted to see if any of you had/use them and what you think. The models im looking at are the Telex 5x5, Lightspeed Mach 1, and the Plantronics MS50/T30-2. just curious what the opinions are out there.

Get the Mach 1. It's quiet, works great with the custom ear molds, it's reliable, has an aux input, well made, FAA approved, and it is the only headset I use...

The Telex 5x5 and the Mach One are not even in the same zip code - Go with the Mach One. Well worth the extra cash.

mach 1. Dont get a telex, I want to hurt everybody that I fly with that has a telex. The **** wind noise is louder coming from those than from the DC's in the airplane.

I'll put another vote for the mach 1. I've had mine for about 4 years. I've broken them twice(both times my own fault), and both times they given me a brand new unit. I don't know much about the quiet technology unit but the mach one is about the quietest thing around...better then the Bose IMO and their customer support is second to none. As for price I paid $415 plus the cost of the ear molds(I believe they were about $50 from the audiologist.) It's an investment in your health and comfort. Don't skimp.
