Default CLE Flight Attendant needs your help

Hi All:

Cleveland Flight Attendant Claire Martin is recovering from breast cancer. Unfortunately she is out of sick-time and burdened with paying COBRA. I think helping her out a bit would lift her spirits. I will keep you all informed about the progress of this lovely lady.

I have added a donation link to the help line: Expressjet Pilots Help Line

Thanks in advance.

Paul E.

Thanks. It is time to find a cure for cancer. It has and will take so many of the people we cherish in life, and possible you and me.

I feel soo helpless when it comes to finding a cure, other than donating money.

Just called Claire's home, and found the last line of this poem on her answering machine:

"Be kinder than necessary,
for everyone you meet is fighting some kind of battle.
live simply, love generously, care deeply and speak kindly…
life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass….
it’s about learning to dance in the rain."

UPDATE

Just talked to Claire today. she will be starting chemo. My understanding is that it is as a precaution, since the cancer did not seem to have spread.

Thanks to those who have donated.

Take care,

Paul E.

Cancer is just like the aviation bidness. You can't predict it and it can go sour in a hurry.

The doctors told me my mom had 6 months to a year to live and she was gone in less than a week.

Everyone keep Claire in their prayers, and stem cell research.
