Leave it to the red tails to totally screw a company over. First Champion and now Midwest. Guess they really should have taken the AirTran offer.

They're the ones who had the Beech 1900 elevator problem in CLT that resulted in a crash into the USAirways hangar in, what, 2003 maybe? That caused the FAA to change the "standard" weights

Great Lakes will just come in and fill the need. Maybe their base in Phoenix will grow again. So when I get furloughed I can then attempt to be a real pilot and fly the mighty Beech! Not that I really want that to happen.

PS: Mesa sucks!
