I'm not sure if it is drugs Stan is taking, or drugs he needs to be taking. Here are a few things, 1. Branded is dying, it is only a matter of time as to how long it will take. 2. SAT should have never been open and should have already been closed! 3. I'm not sure why you'd want to merge with ASA and Skywest as they have as many or more lifers than we have now and only a few more junior than our U5XXXs. 4. You seem to think we have some upper hand in these negotiations. We don't, our mgmt pissed away $70 mil. last year, that is why our stock is way down and we are an easy target for takeover and Mama Cal hates us (or atleast our top mgmt).

If we end up SKW in the end, I think they should definately have to integrate all seniority lists. No company should ever be able to hold more than one competing airline (or seniority list) to prevent whipsawing. Maybe our national ALPA reps could push a new bill... call it the wipsaw bill. Have it mandate all holding companies integrate and have rules designed to prevent this type of pilot abuse. Haven't we lost enough already?

We retain all of our employees (With zero people on the street) to fly the 50 seat feed and keep branded alive. In exchange we let all Skywest pilots fly the new 70-90 seat feed for CAL since their management is so confident they'll give up their scope. (Which to me is the biggest red herring of all since there is no way in hell CAL will give up their scope).
