I will donate sick time, and if we get an ontime bonus on the 16th, maybe we can donate that too.

For the rest of us, tomorrow when you're having a bad day at work, remember how fortunate we are to have our health.

Thumbs up

Count me in on the sick time. And if I see a donation box at any of the bases, I will give.

I will donate all my buddy passes and some sick time. Has some one talked to Semak or HR about this?
They can also count on my On time check if we get one.
To Aaron's wife - as you can see many of us are here to help, I will encourage you to set up a bank account where we can send any help. Best wishes to you and your family, I will be hoping for the better.
Best Regards

Update:

Aaron's wife IM'd me earlier... The surgery is over and the doc said it was tougher than he expected. I imagine Aaron's in recovery right now. I'll update more when I hear something.

Also,

I emailed GS and he stated that unfortunately, we do not have a sick bank donation program. I'm kinda bummed about this one. That would have been one of the easiest ways to help out. Maybe we can get something like this changed in the future.

I've talked to Kim about setting up a PayPal donation account based on all the willingness to help. Quit frankly, for obvious reasons, she's been very busy and very stressed lately so she hasn't been able to give it her full attention. I'll try to work with them to get something set up as soon as possible.

They are also applying to the Wings Program for additional support as well. Does anyone know how much they can expect out of that?

In the meantime... your thoughts, well wishes, and comments are appreciated. The Buddy Pass volunteers are appreciated as well.

I'll update again when I hear something...

I will be happy to donate some of my sick time. Just let me know when and where. Please let us know if there has been a bank account set up, I am sure if we can't get the sick time thing to work we could get money to the family.
