Sure, McCain is anti-pilot.
Thing is, you think some upper-class Harvard law urbanites would like us any better?

What McCain may have said back in 2000 regarding some pilot group(or whatever it was that was said) is not important to me....what is important to me is that our country is safe and secure...and that our military is the strongest and best it could be. No other candidate is more qualified for that than John McCain.
And besided, for all of you paranoid about McCain's stance regarding pilots...you do realize his son is a pilot at American Airlines, right?

Yep, it's common knowledge. Which begs the question, why has he taken the stance he has in the past that is anti airline pilot?

If she's the one with the 'experince", how could she have let herself be "misled" like this? Is this the kind of "experience" we want running our country?
I'm not a fan of Bush, but to make such an ignorant statement that it's the people who voted for Bush are at fault for the way things are is pretty ignorant.

Well, maybe, just maybe Hillary, Bill, Gore, Kerry, Edwards, members of the intelligence committees in the house and senate, bipartisan majority of the house and senate, prime ministers of England, Italy, Spain, Australia, and all the members of the UN security council at the time really did believe the intelligence (faulty or not but regardless, not known at the time) that Iraq possessed wmd and in a period post 9/11 they were not going to take a chance at letting Iraq go without inspectors for the previous 5 years.
All those congressmen, prime ministers, and independent foreign intelligence agencies couldn't have ALL been "mislead."

Well, maybe, just maybe, McCain stands behind his convictions regardless of his personal or his family's personal expediency. Not saying that I agree with all his convictions but just that you have to admire him for believing in something that might not be in the best interest of his own family.

If, and I'm just saying if, McCain does get the presidency, how is the secret service going to be able guard his son? That would be interesting to watch them try and follow an airline pilot around.
