Got AMBER WNDSHR today at about 1pm on short final about 100feet. Really wasn't that bad. After go around approach was asking why we went around and said alot of our planes were doing it in comparison to everyone else. Told him it was mandatory with our equipment. Anyway sucessful the second time.

Anybody know how badly ops were affected at ONT yesterday? Before our trip started it seemed like just about everybody was either late or diverted.

On a serious note, fellas, don't think twice about a go-around with these crazy SA's.

Especially with the new guys, consider briefing it step-wise in your briefs until these things cool off. Might be the first time many of these new FOs out west have actually gone around...
