Default IPhones to help ease delays?
Has anyone seen the IPhone comercial where the pilot is talking about his 3hr delay from ORD - EWR? Basicly the pilot says,he pulled up the weather with his IPhone, saw the weather had passed the field. So they called dispatch, and soon after tower cleared them for take off...

That's just great. Now we are going to have every pax with a PDA telling us to call dispatch!!

you kidding the other day some jerkoff says, "my wife is drinking martinis on our front porch in NJ, wheres this "weather" you are talking about........." I want to drop kick this guy underneath a tug.............

we should all get the company to issue us IPhones so we can FINALLY see what the radar is. Can't believe the airlines never tried this before.

I saw that assinine (sp?) commercial....... All I could do was roll my eyes......the same thing I do when some dumb a$$ passenger thinks they know more than we do.....

This guy is a tool bag and deserves to be beaten. This jacka$$ forgot to tell us about how the iPhone can also predict ATC delays and routing changes.

i have never been so irate after seeing that commercial in my life, i want to sue APPLE because of it

what's the problem?

i use my iPhone all the time. it's great for ground stops and delays. let's me know what i'm in for. also good for a stranded commuter.

it's just a commercial. don't waste your blood pressure on it.

besides, it's a great device.

apparently he's some guy named Bryce that flies for United
