Pay rates aside, does anyone feel that we are being left behind in the dust when it comes to securing more flying and bigger jets? :?

I don't care about bigger jets. I care about honest pay and QOL. But that's just me.

honest pay
I don't think that will happen for a long time if ever. Hence, the need for bigger planes to get more pay (although admittedly it would be honest either).

The amendment of the existing Chautauqua JSA, including: a reduction in compensation of approximately 3% on the existing 35 ERJ-145 fleet effective upon court approval of the agreement
Wait a minute, so is this saying that the Chautauqua pilots would take a 3% pay reduction to gain bigger aircraft. Please, please someone tell me that I'm reading that wrong. If not I'm going to throw up.

US Air is going to pay CHQ 3% less on their fee for departure. No reductions in pay for the pilots.
