Anyone have gently used software they're looking to part with?

Try this out, it is really cheap, and the software can be configured almost any way you like.

Default ATP Written

I'm scheduled to take the ATP Written at ATP this Sunday. You think I'd be better off going with this software program??

I really liked the software, easy to configure and study. You can set it up to give you the right answer (after you answered the question) to aid in studying, you can configure it to Laser Grade, Cats, and all of the other programs out there, you can select between FARS, Part 91, Part 135, Part 121, Preformance, Weather, etc....

I have used several written test prepware, but this one took the cake, and it is really cheap, about 25 bucks...

Good Luck on the Exam

Default ATP

I used the software from www.checkride.com to help study for the ATP. It was sure a lot better than using just the book. Worked for me. Got an 88%.

Here's the answer to your ATP written. I was skeptical as hell, but just four months ago I went to shepard air. Just type shepard air into google. I believe the site is shepardair.com if I am spelling it correctly. They GUARENTEE you a 90 percent or higher, or your money back. They give you this incredibly method of memorizing every answer. I studied for about 10 days and got a 93%. message me anytime if you have more questions, but this rocked, especially for $85. -just like that Dallas ATP school, except better and for your home PC. (PS-they deactivate the software after you test or I'd give you mine)

How many cumulative hours did you study to get your "93" ? If you studied 20 hours that seems a bit excessive. I thought you could go to ATP without studying and watch they're video for 3 hours or so and then take the test and get about a 90.

Heck in 20 hours I could probably read Gliem from cover to cover.... and learn the stuff.

Default ATP written...reply to Heater's comment

I spent around 20 hrs, but here's the thing. I spent 85 dollars, not 295 dollars. I didn't have to take off from work, and I didn't have to drive/fly out to All ATP for the class. Also, I don't think that ATP guarantee's a score, whereas my software was money back if I didn't get a 90 plus. If, I had to take off even one day of work and drive, that could've totaled an additional 400 dollars! Well, everyone has their own, unique situation...

*the biggest advantage to ALL ATP school or Shepard Air test prep is...

I bought Gleim's and only the 121 version..there's roughly 1500 plus questions.
Shepard Air claims that the computer, faa test in actuality only uses like an 800 question bank...w/ shep air you only study the 800 questions, not the 1500 plus in Gleims. If you get a question on the test that wasn't in the 800 quest. bank or you get below a 90...your money back........SWEET!

Studying?!? I wouldn't worry about it....I hear the answers are mostly "C"....studying is over rated.

I second the Gleim ATP book....its cheap - which being a cheap pilot, I like.
