-incidentally, I glanced out the window during my interview on 5/2 just to see the emergency vehicles rolling for the XJet that lost its tire the other day. Ended up watching the whole thing on t.v. while we were doing the pee test. Kudos to the crew on Tuesday for a great job.

Yes, in fact it was announced the day of my interview back in April, and they had some people come in and talk about it before we got started, figuring that everyone was going to ask anyway.
What they told us is that they plan on keeping the airplanes and flying them elsewhere. They also said to keep in mind that in the aviation business you never know what will happen and that it could mean we will all be furloughed before long but that they wouldn't be hiring us if they expected to be doing so.

I thought that was a good, honest approach to the situation.

Does anyone know if the hotel has wireless internet in the rooms? I'm thinking about bringing my laptop.

Does anyone know if the hotel has a mini fridge in the rooms? It'd be nice to keep some food and drink on hand given the Good Eats=No Bowels comment.

I heard that they have some available if you request one, on a first come first served basis. Is this correct?
