Congrats, welcome aboard. Study everything they gave you. Know at least the flows cold. If they gave you the memory items and limitations study those and know them cold as well. (Our class only recieved the flows, no memory items/limitations until we got our Vol I). Oh yah, and if you can, go home every once in awhile, take some time away from studying. It seems overwhelming, but they'll definately help you out. They want you to make it to the line as much as you do. Good luck!

We will warm up a seat for you a "Ricks", and give the dancers the new revisions for your limitations.

On an even more serious note: If you have a car and are thinking of bringing it, I would recommend it. Spending two hours waiting at Wal Mart for the hotel bus gets annoying when all you wanted was a Cup O Noodles and PB&J.

So if the worst case comes true about the 69 jets I realize I will be one of the first ones to go. I was wondering, If I am furloughed is there a set amount of time that I will have recall rights? Do we still get to non-rev? And since my uniform will not be close to being paid off, will I be charged the balance when I am let go?

I have worked for both Mesaba and Comair in non flying positions, and I have to say I have never met a more positive and helpfull group as I have met with XJT..

you will not be furloughed, you will still get to non rev, and yes they will still take the money out of your paycheck.

Remember to eat Good eats at every meal to keep your body strong so you can learn. If you feel like more Greese.. check out the Kettle across the street. $2.99 , and all the greeze you can handle.

Also, be sure to frequent the Hoot County Saloon (couple blocks down the street) 5 to 6 times a week. Bring your Vol 1 so you can study memory items and limitations over cold beer, a few cigarettes, game of pool, and sleazy women.

If you want batchelism or any other __ism eat at the Kettle. Hoot Co. saloon is fun but if you want real fun with scantly clad bartenders go to Hoot Co. on Greens road on Tuesdays or Fridays. The lovely Ashley should be working and I can assure all of you it is well worth the trip.
