Default AF Reserves call up during training

Anyone ever been called up by the reserve's during training? I know if you get called before training they make you re-apply. Just wondering if they make you start training over or come back at the same point? Not planing on getting called up but you never know?

Guardguy,
I am NOT speaking from personal expreince, but it is my understanding that if you are given a class date, the company has essentially "hired" you pending completion of training and is required by law to hold that spot for you in the event you are activated. If you start training, then you'll probably have to start from square one upon your return.

Any other views??

Not true, when you fill out all that paperwork when you get hired, one of the things you sign says that you are not technically hired until you pass your pc! Now they may say come back when your duty ends but they may notm especially now that we aren't hiring as many people as we were about a year ago! Now they can't just not hire you because you a involoved with the military, but if something like that happens I would exprect that they may say re apply when your tour is over!

Oh most definately. Your employee # is what stays with you for the rest of your career here; it's on your badge. Your seniority number (on the bid packet) will go up or down based on movement of those above you or those transferring to your base in front of you that have seniority. You ALWAYS want the seniority number to go up!!
