Default Tips for Initial training.

8)
hi guys, I will be starting class in a few weeks, I have some questions I hope you guys can help.

1) What are the things that you wished you knew , Before you started training.

2) At the orientation I recieved the cockpit poster and the study guide, are there any other books I should have had by now.

3) Is there a decent gym at the training hotel.

4) Any other tips would be appreciated.

Thanks

wow it's been at least...... 3 weeks since this exact question was asked for the millionth time.

1. Always wrap it if you're gonna bang a FA

2. Catcher In The Rye is a good one, or maybe 1984

3. No. But if you are concerned about maintaining your weight, just eat at Good Eats a few times and you will lose 15lbs or so from vomiting and shitting due to food poisoning.

4. Buy Low - Sell High. Don't feed Gremlins after midnight. Never eat raw chicken. Female captains hate this joke if they are flying with a female FO and FA: "Hey look! An unMANNED crew! Har har!"

Welcome to the family.

there should also be a sheet in the back with your memory items. They typically want them memorized prior to day 1. know your flows and profiles before you show up and you will be ahead of the ball game.

Good Luck

welcome aboard

Don't they only become Gremlins if you feed Mawgui after midnight?

Flows flows flows.......and memory items too.

Do NOT waste your time studying anything else. You will have more than enough time to study for the rest if you stay awake in class.

Oh....by the way...welcome aboard and good luck

Know flows, very well. Memory items & Limitations are nice also but you don't get your CFM to look them up so unless you know someone...

Nope, it sucks and you won't have time anyway.
