Default Please help me with some BS I think I just heard?

I was talking to a friend of mine who just got on with Comair and he is saying that their upgrade time is going to be about the same as ours with their new jets, could that be true? Also said pay freeze is not effecting new guys, seems a little fishy to me, any help would be great in countering this. Thanks

I don't know about upgrade time over there so I can't make an educated guess about that. I have no idea what upgrade time is running there now (I would GUESS longer than ours) and how many aircraft they are actually going to get.

In regards to the pay freeze at Comair, the deal was negotiated so that new hires get their bump to 2nd year pay after their first year is up. When the pay freeze was first proposed, there was immediate outcry that new hires would be stuck at first year pay for two-three years.

Since the pay freeze is in effect until 2007, essentially he is right. If a pilot was hired in July, he will get bumped to 2nd year pay in July '06 and get bumped to 3rd year pay in July '07 (pay freeze over by then).

Why do you feel the need to "counter" what your friend is telling you???

Yes, tell us how you feel. And how is your relationship with your mother? Feel free to lie down.

I have a friend at Comair he just upgraded (was not holding out) a 6th year F.O. Here at Express, its about a 4 1/2 year upgrade going down quickly. I predic that upgrades will hit the "g" numbers by winter 2006, thus creating a slightly lower than a 2 year upgrade but by early 2006 upgrades will stop and then go back to a 5-8 year upgrade making us a 2nd American Eagle by 2007 and 2008 if nothing changes

Just my outlook!

Peter Sailor told me that it would occur on February 29, 2006.

Well, I guess that tops all of the rhetoric.
