This was never quoted by an official source, so I wouldn't say its fact.

Last I heard from the training department was that we're only planning 48 for the rest of 2008 (3 classes of 16). And that wouldn't be until the end of summer.

In all honesty, I would take anything you hear on here as fact. Wait until your hear it from Angela.

I agree with you but for us in the pool, official news hasn't been coming very frequently.

Hey Tarter, I would start appling elsewhere unless you don't mind a long sit on reserve, poor job security, and a long upgrade(3+ years). If you live near a base it is probably worth a shot because the job is pretty cool, especially in EWR. If you are gonna commute I would apply elsewhere because I get the feeling no one can tell where this is going. We are in a recession, super high fuel prices and we continue to have a pissing match with the hand that feeds us(CAL)...Not a good scene. Good luck.
