Am I not Express Jet Material?
Ok so I applied Jan. 6th 08, with a recommendation. On came January Interviews. No call, ok so maybe there were people ahead of me. I watched my status go from Added to requisition, to Screening. All the time I was continuosly updating my resume. Finally my app. dropped offline. So my buddy at Xjet. says reapply. So I did, and now I see there are interviews supposedly this week.
I'm just wondering what I'm doing wrong.
1100 TT
400 Multi
375 Turbine (Shorts 360) Air Cargo Carriers
4 year BS in Aerospace Management. 2 Flight instructing jobs, one as assistant Chief Flight Instructor. 10 months at Air Cargo. Planning to finish my contract.
Just tyring to figure out what turned Xjet off to my app.
I had put April 1st as available date, which may have been my problem.
I've been told my resume looks great by many others.
Any input greatly appreciated. I know this is a great company, and I would like to be part of it.
Thanks Everybody

Second thing I'm wondering...
Because my app dropped offline, and I had to reapply...
Am I at the bottom of the stack again, likely to miss the next set of interviews.
Sorry, just frustrated. Getting a job is always easier when your not looking for one haha.
Thanks again.

I've heard that when your application status drops offline it means HR has printed off your info and they've added you to the stack. You can try calling the HR department to inquire about the status of your application. I applied back in December and interviewed in late January. When I checked my application online, it still said 'screening' up until today, now there's nothing showing on mine either. As far as experience it looks like you're right in the range of where most people were who I interviewed with, so that's probably right about what they're looking for. On the questionnaire did you say that you would be willing to move where they needed you, you could handle 2.5 months of training, etc.? Don't give up man keep trying, hopefully the effort will pay off for you. Good Luck!!

Just to add to everyone's response, when I applied, my application dropped off the system as well, and a few days later I received the invite to interview e-mail...I did re-apply, however it really made no difference as I believe it is true that when your application drops off it means that it has been printed out by HR. My times when I applied were almost identical to yours, and my experience was close to the same, so I wouldn't worry. Best of luck!

Dirt was right, the Feb. Interviews were postponed. I wouldn't worry, keep up the effort, this company is well worth the wait! Best of luck to you.

Did they ever re-schedule the Feb. interviews? The reason I ask is because if not, it may help substantiate the rumor of classes being delayed UFN.
