Its easy to say but dont get discouraged. You would be surprised at how many little things get goofed up here even thought it the outward appearance is cool and collected. Try all of your avenues to follow up with your resume. Call, have your friend call and check personally and if he will have him contact George Semak directly. Last time I referred a pilot I went directly to him and he asked for a resume with at least 1000 hours on it. The guy got a call 3 days later. Of course wait till you hear if our hiring has resumed.

RIght now we are not doing hiring and if you have a chance with another airline I would take it because senority is everything in this industry. If I was hired 3-4 months earlier I would be holding a relief line but I did what I did and oh well. Hopefully XJT will start hiring again soon but you have to realize that right now are some trying times in the industry with 4 airlines going CH13 in 5 days. If XJT is the only airline you want to work for wise decision but just be prepared to wait awhile.
