SO everyone is asking how many are in the pool, so lets have all the new hires respond to this to see approx how many are in there.. I was a 2007 hire.

I'm also a Nov 27th AM new hire. I've only heard once from Angela with that January e-mail, and have not heard anything since. I think that the
Nov 27th-29th interviewees who were offered the job were some of the first to be placed into the pool, however I could be incorrect? Also, I saw that thread about the possibility of the April classes being moved to a future date? I hope that is just a rumor, but has anyone else heard something like this?...

Nov 27th am hire...still swimming. Anybody know where the new classes will most likely be based??

While that is an excellent question, and one I'm wondering as well...I'm more worried about simply getting a class date...

You could also say what base you'd like, to see if everyone wants IAH or whatever. Cause if everyone is IAH... ya ... riiight lol.

I'm swimming as well, but I would guess that the vast majority of the people who are in the pool don't read the pipe, we probably won't get an accurate number from doing this. I've heard that the LAX and ONT bases are getting much more senior now, I know last summer that's where most new-hires went. As for me, I'm not quite sure what my first base choice would be, but I'm thinking maybe CLE.
