Next interviews are scheduled for the 27th & 28th of Feb. As far as I know we are still interviewing and hiring. Good Luck.

With attrition hitting 70-80 a month we cannot go on for long with some serious hiring. CAL, NWA and Delta are hiring our guys like crazy, I think they are going to have to start some serious upgrades and new hiring sooner rather than later, I moved up 40 numbers in EWR last month.

Now I am not trying to start another argument here but I am curious what people use to determine attrition numbers. I usually check my AdOpt number and compare it to what it said the previous month. Between the last two months I moved up 38 numbers, company-wide. By this method, any particular base had to have been less than 40 numbers and that is not even close to 70-80 company-wide attrition. We'd be losing 800 this year at that rate.

Just wondering what people use to figure out a number. I figured AdOpt was the most accurate and I usually see 20-40 a month on there.

Yeah, I've been using ad-opt numbers and have been seeing the same. Not sure what else would really be accurate. But still, at 20-40/month leaving (30-40 for the past couple months), I don't see how we'll be adequately staffed when the march CA line divisor is at 88 hours, and crew planning was only talking about 32 upgrades on this system bid.

Exclamation

As for an update... I received an email yesterday that the interview dates on the 27th and 28th have been canceled. Nothing to get worried over, just that there was a conflict in the scheduling aspect of it and new dates will be scheduled soon.

Sure they will

Think about it...32 new CAs...why do we need more FOs again...if it was a simple scheduling problem, why not include the new dates in the same email?

Easy Tiger, they have enough people to fill the first 3 or 4 classes, already. I am sure this was just a scheduling conflict, I am sure they will resume interviews soon. Angela and her group are not trying to hide anything, they are a really good group of people. Oh ye of little faith.....
