Who did you hear that from? None of us have heard any indication of that or an email. Were talking new hires back from November/December too. That would really suck. Wouldnt be totoally surprised with the way the industry is though.

That would suck. I haven't gotten anything. I've been here since November and the only e-mail I got was the one she sent out in January saying that April was the goal for new hires.

What are the chances that HR would send out a e-mail on a Sunday or a Federal Holiday? Probably slim to none! I did not get any e-mail about this and I have been in the pool for about 3 months and would be pissed if this were true.

I am with everyone else that the chances of this are very slim, and like many in the pool, which I've been in since Nov 27th, would be irate if this news came...then again being mad wouldn't help...let's hope this guy is kidding or misinformed!

I think the info above is flame bait, that said, some HR folks I believe work at home.

I got my travel stuff at 2am before...2am?!?! who works that late...

Payroll was working yesterday, I'd imagine Hr was working over the holiday as well.

AIRLINES DON'T HAVE HOLIDAYS!

I hope it's next week quite honestly. Captains are bleeding out of their eye sockets and we need to run some upgrade classes like yesterday.

It's not at all flame bait; in fact the reason I asked was to see if it was just something "someone heard" or if it was fact.

I do believe that all interviews stopping for a while would not be a big deal as the pool is probably full of enough people to carry XJT through the next few months of new hire classes.
