Default hiring time frame

ok.. so when i got back on the ground today I checked my voicemail and was elated to hear a message from an xjet recruiter requesting that I fax an updated resume... which i did... promptly. I am working for a 135, have over 2000 TT and 450 multi, so I am hoping for an invitation to interview. would anybody be able to give me a general idea of how long it takes from fax submission to interview to class date?

Also... just an informal pole .. how many Auburn people work there now? what is it they say... umm.. 'battle chicken'? .. it's been a while since i've been to the land of Guthrie's...

Your times look pretty good. I wouldnt suspect it taking very long. Good luck and let us know how it turns out.

Too many. Apparently ExpressJet is kind of like WalMart in respects to hiring people like that. It makes for an easier transition later in their career. I guess it is easier on them to go from "Good afternoon folks... welcome Expressjet Flight...." to "Good Afternoon folks we have a special on DVD players today...need a cart?" <--sarcasm emoticon

Seriously though, I know a few of them personally and would fly with them any day. 8)

I have similar times to you. Then called and left me a message on a Friday. I faxed the updated resume on Sunday. They called me on the Saturday. All said it was a week. They offered an interview that was only about a week out after that, so be ready, and good luck

Mike

30 days and counting... (31 if we use UTC) :?

I called the main Xjet recruitment number and the guy there said that all my paperwork was in order ... however... he said that he could not verify receipt of my resume because that information resided with a different department. He advised me to fax a letter to the same number to which I faxed my resume and ask them directly if they received my resume.

Should I do that? I don't want to bug them, but I also don't want to slip through the cracks.

In the mean time, guess I'll keep threading the seneca through summer t-storms.... "wash center, request a vector outta this $hit"...

Did you fax them the resume? Did you speak with anyone?

Call 281-553-4500 and ask to speak to the pilot recruiter...
