Default Are notifications send after receiving online applications?

When applying on line, do they send a confirmation of any kind advising that the application was received? I apply on April and I am waiting very patient; but, I would like to make sure if they ever received my application.

There is no notification of the app being received. If you applied online then they got it....word to the wise dont mess with your online app AT ALL, or the computer system will see you as just applying and the wiat will start all over again.

Hope this helps

When you guys mention "online application" do you mean by posting your resume on thier website? Or is there an online app? If there is one then I must of missed it cause I submitted my resume on the website. Grant it I am only just over 500hrsTT, but does anyone think I should also fill an online app if there is one?

Hold off on applying until you meet the mins. If you apply now and then re-apply once you meet the mins your app will be sent to the bottom of the pile. When HR gets to you they will ask you to fax your updated resume to them. It is from that they will determine your elligibility for an interview.

Gotcha, I'll just sit and wait. I am closing in on 600TT now, so I don't expect to get a chance anytime soon yet. But Alot of it is from flying jumpers. I am finishing up my CFI right now and plan to start doing that by end of Aug. to build better total time, like instrument, night, etc.
I just hope things pick up with hireing. I really would love to work for XJT, and I applied cause I heard about the 600 mins, but now it looks like I have to sit on the sidelines for much longer. I am 26 now and feeling impateint on not getting into a good company yet and not getting younger and the waiting can be aggrevating. Oh well, I am still sticking to it cause I love flying and its been my dream, but I noticed that this career choice you have to be pateint. I am looking foreward to CFI, unless I can get a 135 position with my time. Anyone have any ideas of where to go for 135 if you don't want to go the CFI route but want to build time, having almost 600TT, especially to build multi ? I heard Airnet has 500 mins for hireing, but they really want you to have higher mins to meet 135 PIC cause it seems more cost effective to pay one pilot for a plane that can be flown by one instead of two.

Hey Gelopilot79, I talked to some Airnet pilots about a week ago myself. They are looking for pilot's and the mins are 500TT. They will put you in a Barron until you meet the 135 requirements and pay you while you are SIC. So full in the online app.

Good luck....

Thanks for the info george,
I plan on putting in my app ASAP. Might as well give it a shot. I heard they are hurting for pilots so we'll see what happens.

With Airnet be careful of Craig Washka, he is the biggest *** on the planet! They may be hiring now but with the electronic checks taking over you may become furloughed there, they also require you to sign a 1 year commitment which costs about $7,000 to break! Another thing is they might put you in a caravan and that kills the multi time you so preciously need to build! Airnet also interviews about 2,000 pilots a year and only hired about 250 last year!

Good stuff to know, thanks. . I'll keep those in mind. I Heard of Mr. Washka, I sent him an email a few weeks ago asking if they are hiring. He told me thier mins are 500TT but they rather like to see have a TT somewhere around 800-1000TT(less SIC they have, less pilot labor costs I assume) . But I heard they really need pilots so it doesn't hurt to try and see what happens.

But thanks for the info
