I was wondering if anyone here knew about how long you had to wait from your application status on the website saying "screening" to when you got the email from HR to go to IAH for the interview? I know that it varies based on need and now I'm sure the time inbetween is much longer now due to the supposed hiring slow down that is taking place. I'm just asking to get a gauge on about how long it takes.
I applied on Oct 23rd, and the status changed to "screening" around Nov
1st. I'm really not in any rush, but would just like the opinions of those who've gone before me. Thanks! and congrats to all who have been recently hired!
I spoke with Angela and she said that they are going through the apps right now and will be sending emails sometime next week or so. Also if your application online was submitted and then it "went away" that is because she printed off all your information for screening and so it is taken off. You do not need to resubmit.
Oh thats great news, hopefully we'll be hearing something soon! Yeah mine disappeared last week, so I'll take that as a good sign. I did reapply though b/c I was paranoid, but I guess if I was fortunate enough to be selected for screening then it really won't matter. When did you apply, and did your status disappear sometime last week?
I submitted my app late in September and I received an interview invite one month later. My interview is towards the end of Nov. I can't wait! Be sure to keep checking for the 20 question prescreening questionnaire on your applicant profile if you haven't taken it already. Have all your logbooks on hand too when you take it.

Congrats man! Yeah, I took the 20 question assessment literally 2 days after I applied. Hopefully I'll be hearing something soon. Good luck on the interview....by the way knucklehead did your application status disappear on the employment website shortly before you were called?
No, it said screening for quite a while. I didn't notice it was gone until I read your post. I have talked to people on this forum though that said their status was in screening all the way through training.
