But I just started sim training and won't be done until May 30th....then IOE. So realistically I couldn't interview until next month anyways; they just weren't calling for June interviews yet so that's why they put me on the "to be contacted next month" list. I even asked if there were going to be interviews on May 31st because I have that day off as of now. Trust me I wish it hadn't worked out this way because I really do want to work for XJT...but I'm just not going to screw up what I have going, in case I botch the interview and don't get hired. And like captainChet said, I don't think XJT would appreciate it if I had called in sick for a sim session to go interview somewhere else...so that's why I made the decision that I made.

I think you're going to have more explaining to do telling XJT why you're breaking a commitment to a company when you haven't even hit the line and they've spent all this money on you.... Unless this is CA upgrade training, which I doubt you'd be leaving PIC 121 time...
