Default Resume Q

I am ready to put in my application and had a nit picky question regarding my resume that I have to paste onto the application. Should I include work experience on my resume even if it's not aviation related, i.e. retail experience etc.? Would it be acceptable to make the whole resume in 10 point font? I am kinda anal when it comes down to these kinds of things so any advice would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

I put non-aviation work experience and used an Arial 12 point I believe. I just pasted it and it came out with whatever text the box spits out. I got hired.

Thanks! The thing I'm concerned about with using 12 point font is that my resume won't fit within one page. I found a resume builder on the XJT website and I'm messing around with that to see what it comes up with.

Yeah, I'd keep it one page.

Last question. Did anyone copy and paste their resume with a cover letter on the application page?

Cool, thanks! I just hit the submit button on my application just 10 minutes ago and I didn't include the cover letter, so that makes me rest a little easier. I'll be sure to bring it to the interview though. Thanks again!

You should be fine putting any working experience. No cover letter. A wonder to the wise, if you worked many jobs, do write out somewhere the jobs and dates etc. You will need to do that at the interview. Save time and headache.

Thanks! A friend of mine who already works there sent me a copy of the e-mail XJT sent him for his interview. I noticed that it said a current resume with work history and dates on it, so I went ahead and included that on my resume. I've only had three jobs up until this point so that worked out nicely. Now, I am just waiting, studying, and hoping that I get a call eventually.

Thanks again for everyone's help!
