have you talked to anyone that works at mesa? i have friends that have worked there for over 1 1/2 years now, and they are still trying to get based in PHX. it's a really senior base for them. and that is assuming you actally get on the mesa side of things, just think you might get stuck with freedom (just think of how much fun your commute is going to be then). i've have several friends that work there, and they have all said that even if they could have gotten based in phx (where they live), they would still not advise me taking the job, its that bad!

FWIW, I already had an EMB 145 SIC type before coming to XJet and it still took them 3 weeks to call me. I would deliver pizzas if I were you before signing up with them.

I agree with everyone... I have a buddy of mine that is with Mesa now and he just got in the sim this week. He did his oral 4 or 5 days ago. The funny and sad thing is that he was hired like 5 months ago. So it seems like you are prob 5-6 months away from flying anything there because they are so short on ppl they can't even pull the sim instructors offline. Wait it out and come here, I came from another airline flying the 145 and still took them like 3weeks to call. This is an awesome company to work for. Hell if you are out in Arizona there are a few places that are paying 30K-50K to instruct, give them a call.
Good Luck

you could also reapply, sometimes the computer doesn't send all of them through. When my buddy and I applied we got the call on the second app. Good luck man!

Which 135 operator?

And don't go to Mesa. There's a reason the employees say "My Employer Sucks A$$" over there.
