Default Latest news on IOE...

I was in the May 21 class, and I just got my base assignment today...But still no I.D. cards in the next week or so-They ran out of paper! Unbelievable!

Anyway, I was just wondering what the latest news is for anyone else in the classes ahead of my 21 class.

Thanks for your inputs, they will help me determine if I can got to Belize next week for 5 days or not! My wife is finishing up her MBA in Finance, and this trip will double as a graduation celebration and an anniversary trip!

Is this Mr. Colgan? JTG!

I am following the advice given to us from the beginning and the end of training...Don't call us, we'll call you!

Your right, MC is clueless and a little rude at the same time, you ask a question, and she definitely gives you some kind of answer, just don't know if it is the right ones though. However, I think that all of them are lost when it comes to knowing what the heck is going on with us!

I am surprised at the lack of planning in the Training department, every time they have the opportunity to get a little closer to getting things in order, they forget that they are almost out of paper, and then BAM, no paper, can't make badges!

Whatever I guess!!!

Wow...alot of talk for people that were just hired and probably have no clue as to the capacity the training center is running at these days. Guess what, you guys are not the center of attention at the training center. They are doing the best they can with the shortage of pilots they've got. Be grateful you have a job at the best regional out there. So relax and collect your paycheck while you enjoy time off cause in no time you'll be bitching about how you have'nt had a day off in months. Welcome and happy flying

Hey buddy, no offense, nobody likes a lecture, and nobody here is saying anything negative about the company or the training department, everyone knows exactly what the company is going through as far as expantion and manpower...As for the reason the thread was open, my buddy was asking how to find out if he could take his wife to belize for anniversary as you might notice, if you can get off your "lets be greatful" (which we ALL are) soap box...I bet you were just lurking around the threads looking for some way to impart your "real world" experience on...As far as real life experience, try working for a company who REALLY treats you like crap and all they can say is "Deal with it, your lucky to have a job" ...I think you are the lucky one for not having gone through that with XJET...HAPPY FLYING

I should have seen this coming and counter acted it before I posted! Like my buddy said, WE are not ungrateful, and I do have a clue about the backup and the mess that the training department is going through. I am not in junior high here buddy; therefore, I do not expect to be treated as such. For this is the way that we have been treated so far by the training department, and they are the ones who told us to call them in the first place.

And yes I know I am new, hell, I can't hide that even if I tried U28%^! But, I know that I also have a reason to bitch at the moment, so I will. As far as being grateful that I have a job, I am, but I believe that I earned my way here. This is not my first job, and if there is a problem that affects me, I will address it. Happy flying!
