Default Screening?

Hi everyone, I'm new here. I just did a search for the information I'm looking for, but some of it seems a bit outdated. I applied on 6/28, and it changed to "Screening" today. After a month of waiting that seems like a good sign, so I'm wondering if anyone has any idea of when I might get "the" email to come interview. Is that usually a sign that it'll be sent soon? Thanks!

By the way, my times are 760/170.

Im a week away from being done with training and my app still says screening. I had about the same TT as you just a little less multi. So they do hire low time guys! How much Multi time do you have in the last 6 months? thats a big thing They really want to see around 100 multi with in the last 6 months.

You might want to consider reapplying. I know some people in my class that applied and didnt hear anything for 2 months and then reapplied and got the email a week later. Their interview process is EXTREMELY random and I heard it is done by a third party outside the company so dont get down about it if you dont hear anything after a while. Just be patient! Good luck!!

93.1 multi in the last 90 days even. Multi is no problem.

Yeah, I heard that reapplying does help. I know a guy who didn't hear anything the first time around, but reapplied and now is in IOE. I'll give it another week before I just make a whole new account on the site and see where that takes me. Thanks for the help!

You do not have to create a "whole" new account. Just search the job postings, while you are logged in, and you will notice the job number changes every month. All you have to do is hit "apply for this job" and that puts your info on top again.

Cool, I just tried that. Now it says:

Job Title Submittal date Status
Pilot - First Officer 7/28/2007 7:19 PM Added to Requisition
Pilot - First Officer 6/28/2007 12:30 AM Screening

I certainly hope that doesn't throw a wrench in the whole operation. But hey, doesn't hurt to try. I wasn't hearing anything from them anyway.

Yeah that's perfect...everytime you see a new job number, i.e. new posting, reapply for it. Usually once a month.

Will do. Hopefully I won't have to wait another month anyway.
