YES!!!!!! have you ever done a steep turn in a dual FMS then do one in a single FMS, its night and day!

kidding of course

Sounds like someone is a little weak in the flows maybe and memorizes the flow depending on the sim....just a thought...otherwise it shouldn't matter.

I guess it doesnt matter, but I heard the single fms was a hunk of junk that was broken more then it was in service.

#9 is single, the sim only had one issue where #18 had more problems. Good Luck. the coffee is great at DFW FSI.

Thanks. It is a single and out of four sim sessions it only broke once on us, some guys from my class had to switch to 18 in the middle of a lesson a few days ago. All is going well and I'm learning alot.(and having a blast too.)

It's actually a little bit of both. It has a single FMS but the wx radar setup and I think the RMU setup is for the dual FMS because it is really tailored for Eagle. They swap in the Honeywell FMS for us and only put one in, probably just to save time, but the sim is actually configured as a dual FMS airplane.
